Hello, I’m Akaysha! I enjoy birding, exploring and reviewing cafes, researching weird fandom topics, playing soccer, and of course, filmmaking!
My Work
As a filmmaker, my work as a writer and part of the Camera and Electrical Department is driven by the belief that while the end product always matters, it's important to approach projects with an open mind to what the finish line may look like. Often, it's the desire to create and help stories find the light of day that makes something amazing. This approach has allowed me to collaborate with incredible individuals. When I’m not writing, I’m on set enjoying the technical aspects of filmmaking and trying to learn and experience everything that can teach me more about my craft.
